" Both my mum and dad are now residents of Woodlands Manor, they have been there now for 7 weeks and I couldn’t fault it so far. The manager of the home goes above and beyond in the care she gives and the events she puts on for the residents. My mum and dad share a lovely room together backing onto the huge very well-presented rear garden, all of the staff we have come across so far have been lovely, caring and attentive to my mum and dad. It was a very hard time for the family trying to find a home which we felt good enough for our mum and dad as you are looking for a 5-star hotel you will never find, we viewed around ten homes and never felt any of them good enough or suitable until we went to Woodlands Manor, once we met the manager and viewed the premises we felt comfort putting our mum and dad into the care they had needed for a while. I will carry on adding reviews each month to hopefully help others looking for the right care home for their loved ones."

"Ash Croft cared for my dad for nearly nine months. I did not worry about the level of care he received. The staff obviously and genuinely care for Dad and supported me, often on a daily basis, throughout the difficulties of Covid. I am a registered health professional myself, therefore, played an active role in all of Dad's care, and staff were always receptive to my preferences in relation to Dad's best interests. I can not fault the care from the staff at Ash Croft and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursing home. Dad did not use the facilities, food and drink or activities."

"From the day my husband took up residence at Cedar Grange in October 2020 he was treated with kindness, compassion and most of all care in every aspect of the word. Nothing was too much trouble whatever the question when asked. The care team treated him as if he were one of their own. He settled in quite quickly and although we were unable to visit inside the home due to Covid - window visits were arranged with the provision of two-way speaker systems which enabled us to carry out conversations, thus keeping the contact. Sadly, he passed away in January after spending 2 weeks in hospital but as a family, we will always be grateful to everyone at Cedar Grange for all the support we received from them."

"The team at Ash Croft House are exceptional. They gave our dad fun, love and laughter, as well as highly professional care and kindness during the last 18 months of his life. He quickly came to see it as his home and so did we. "I just want to say that my mother is very well looked after by the staffs including manager from this care home. Communication is excellent and treated my mum and other residents like their relative with dignity. Most importantly I'm also really impressed with how they handle things/hygiene during difficult COVID situation and it is evident that there is no residents suffered with COVID, especially viewing by myself who has background medical profession. "Having previously had a bad experience at another care home we were relieved that mum settled well at Cedar Grange. We felt that the staff made a real effort to get to know mum and were genuinely fond of her. We were always made to feel welcome and the staff were very accommodating. "Due to the lockdown, the home is not available to for visits nor are residents allowed out. This is good under the covid19 conditions. I was allowed a 1/2 hour visit two weeks ago, and not having seen my brother for four months, he was very communicative and in excellent health. We talked as if I had seen him only a week before the visit. The home is doing an excellent job of caring for my brother."

"I have great admiration for the way Cedar Grange coped with the pandemic. Lockdown was managed knowledgeably, consistently and sensitively. The home adapted efficiently to constantly changing situations keeping all residents safe and contented. The staff were cheerful and imaginative in their approach to residents well being with letters home, celebrations and a wide range of stimulating activities. They were always happy to give telephone updates and demonstrated a genuine concern for the callers well being.
