Philosophy of Care

The Cedars Care Group philosophy is taking good care of people. We extend that to everyone: residents, visitors and staff. Here is our Philosophy of care.

All people who live and work at the Cedars Care Group homes and all people who visit will be treated with respect and dignity at all times.
We aim to offer person-centred support that enables the people who live and work with us to achieve their optimum potential and state of health and well-being.
We uphold the human and citizenship rights of all who live and work at our homes, and all who visit.
Independence, individual choice, and personal decision-making are the rights of all residents, and Cedars Care Group staff will support them.
The privacy and confidentiality of all individuals will be respected at all times. All information relating to individuals, whether residents or staff, will be treated confidentially.

"I just wanted to leave a review on Ash Croft Nursing home in Formby. My grandma recently passed away and lived out her remaining days at Ash Croft. I just want to compliment the staff on the amazing work they have done during the last few months of her life. They have cared, supported and most importantly been a friend to my grandma. She was a wonderful woman and only deserved the best, which she 100% received. On arrival at the home to collect her stuff, the nurses and care assistance all came over one by one to offer their sympathy and to share stories and memories of my grandma.
