Cedar Grange Mum has settled in quickly and is happy and well cared for. She is always clean and her hair is styled. Mum has lovely clothes and they are well looked after too. The staff are absolutely amazing, warm, friendly and kind. It feels like family already! The staff know Mum's fun, loving, sociable personality and she enjoys the activities and the time the staff spend with her. Cedar is always clean and tidy as is Mum's room. The facilities at Cedar are brilliant the pub, shop, cafe and the decking is a lovely feature overlooking the nursery. The dining room overlooks the lovely gardens. The visitor's conservatory is gorgeous, stocked with drinks. Visitors can enjoy a drink in the pub too!

Cedar Grange Overall feel happy with the home and care Mum receives. It is sometimes hard to get through to the care team to let them know I will visit. This is important as Mum has become more incontinent in the last year and requires the toilet before she leaves the home to prevent accidents.

"We feel so reassured as a family that our mother/nan is safe and secure at Cedar Grange. The staff are all so caring and friendly and Mum is always dressed nicely and her needs are clearly being met. Her room is lovely and clean, as is the entire home. We always feel welcomed when we visit, even if we arrive at bust times, such as meal times. This home is definitely third time lucky for us and we are so glad that we could get our mum into this lovely home."

"From the day my husband took up residence at Cedar Grange in October 2020 he was treated with kindness, compassion and most of all care in every aspect of the word. Nothing was too much trouble whatever the question when asked. The care team treated him as if he were one of their own. He settled in quite quickly and although we were unable to visit inside the home due to Covid - window visits were arranged with the provision of two-way speaker systems which enabled us to carry out conversations, thus keeping the contact. Sadly, he passed away in January after spending 2 weeks in hospital but as a family, we will always be grateful to everyone at Cedar Grange for all the support we received from them."

"Having previously had a bad experience at another care home we were relieved that mum settled well at Cedar Grange. We felt that the staff made a real effort to get to know mum and were genuinely fond of her. We were always made to feel welcome and the staff were very accommodating. The management team are proactive and forward-thinking. Staff training is the key to an excellent CQC report next time. Thank you."

"Due to the lockdown, the home is not available to for visits nor are residents allowed out. This is good under the covid19 conditions. I was allowed a 1/2 hour visit two weeks ago, and not having seen my brother for four months, he was very communicative and in excellent health. We talked as if I had seen him only a week before the visit. The home is doing an excellent job of caring for my brother."

"I have great admiration for the way Cedar Grange coped with the pandemic. Lockdown was managed knowledgeably, consistently and sensitively. The home adapted efficiently to constantly changing situations keeping all residents safe and contented. The staff were cheerful and imaginative in their approach to residents well being with letters home, celebrations and a wide range of stimulating activities. They were always happy to give telephone updates and demonstrated a genuine concern for the callers well being. The management team and staff work tirelessly to ensure our loved ones have the best life possible."
