I came to work at Cedar Grange in 1996 as a care assistant. I worked hard to achieve my NVQ Levels 2, 3, 4, and 5. When Ty bought the home in 2005, I was promoted to senior carer, and he helped me progress in my career to become the Deputy Manager and then finally the Registered Manager. I love working at the home and have enjoyed the journey of expanding it by acquiring the two new houses and creating the pub, Boutique, and resident’s kitchen.

We have a great team here at Cedar Grange who share my passion for person-centred care for our residents. We strive to make each day full of laughter and joy!

Needless to say, I will be working here for another 30 years before I retire and get to choose my own bedroom!
