About Us

At Cedars Care Group, our nursing, care, and residential homes are small and intimate. Many of our residents and their families describe our homes as ‘a home away from home.’ That, to us, is a testament that dementia, Alzheimer’s, and old age need not be as bleak or frightening as they might initially feel.

Cedars Care Group is a family-run company that began in 2005 when Ty Yilmaz purchased his first care home. At the time, Ty had elderly parents, so his work was driven by a genuine empathy for residents and their families. With Ty managing operations and a great team in charge of finance and administration, he put his heart, sweat, and tears into building a standard of care he’d feel comfortable entrusting his own parents to.

Today, Cedars Care Group runs four boutique homes across the UK, offering nursing, dementia and elderly care. Our specialist carers provide personalised support and stimulating activities that enable each resident to lead a fulfilling life.  Ty (CEO) still plays a significant role in the company’s day-to-day operations, with a hands-on approach to managing staff at all levels. To that end, he can be found in the kitchens of our homes, cooking a Christmas dinner for residents, or in the gardens cutting grass.

Ty is onsite at the homes throughout the working week and sometimes even at weekends. He knows the residents by name and works alongside staff to ensure Cedars Care Group provides the highest level of personalised service at every home. Read CEO’s Message

What our families say

" Both my mum and dad are now residents of Woodlands Manor, they have been there now for 7 weeks and I couldn’t fault it so far. The manager of the home goes above and beyond in the care she gives and the events she puts on for the residents. My mum and dad share a lovely room together backing onto the huge very well-presented rear garden, all of the staff we have come across so far have been lovely, caring and attentive to my mum and dad. It was a very hard time for the family trying to find a home which we felt good enough for our mum and dad as you are looking for a 5-star hotel you will never find, we viewed around ten homes and never felt any of them good enough or suitable until we went to Woodlands Manor, once we met the manager and viewed the premises we felt comfort putting our mum and dad into the care they had needed for a while. I will carry on adding reviews each month to hopefully help others looking for the right care home for their loved ones."
